LFW

For chambers and economic development

The local business front door, kept open.

Your site is the member directory, the events calendar, the ribbon-cutting photos, and the page a site selector reads before anyone at your office knows they are looking. It changes every day. There is no IT person. There is a volunteer committee and whoever came with the membership software.

LFW is that web team, on retainer: a flat monthly figure a board can approve for same-day updates, the directory and calendar kept current, join and renewal forms tested, accessibility handled before the demand letter, and the redesign when it is due. One accountable partner instead of a software vendor and a volunteer. Most of these sites run WordPress, and WordPress is where we have worked since 2007. The engagement
01

The directory is the product

Members join for the listing. When it is out of date, they notice before you do. We keep the directory current from your membership records, searchable, fast on a phone, and only as public as it should be.

02

Events without per-ticket fees

Luncheons, mixers, the annual dinner: registration, capacity, waitlists, QR check-in at the door, built into the site, with no per-registration fees and a guest list that stays yours.

03

The page site selectors read first

For economic development, the sites-and-buildings database, the demographics, and the incentives page are what a site selector reads first. We keep the data current, the maps working, and the downloads under a megabyte, so the shortlist call comes to you.

04

Accessibility, before the demand letter arrives

Chambers and public economic development bodies are exactly the size ADA demand letters now target, and the April 2027 Title II deadline reaches every county authority. We audit against WCAG 2.2 AA continuously and fix as part of the engagement. Or start with the standalone audit.

What we pick up

Everything a member or a prospect touches, managed.

Member directory
Searchable, categorized, current, and synced with the records you already keep, so a member’s listing changes the day they call.
Dues & renewal
The join and renewal forms are where the revenue arrives. Wired to your processor or your membership software, working on a phone, tested every week.
Events calendar
Registration, capacity, waitlists, QR check-in for luncheons, mixers, and the annual dinner, with no per-ticket fees and a guest list that stays yours.
Sites & buildings
The database, the map, and the data sheets that survive a site selector’s first look, with downloads under a megabyte.
Incentives & demographics
The pages a prospect reads before calling, kept current with the county’s numbers, and the contact form that reaches a person the same day.
News & ribbon cuttings
Posted the same day, with photos that load fast on a phone, and a newsletter signup that lands in the list you already use.
Membership software
MemberClicks, GrowthZone, ChamberMaster, or whatever came with the account: we work alongside it, or replace the public site in front of it.

We do not sell membership software. We make the one you have work on your website, and we own the result.

Records

A record the organization holds, whoever is president next year.

Every request, change, and decision is kept as a running record with reference numbers and history. Documents, data, nightly snapshots: all of it exports in one click, in open formats. Standard practice here.

Slow, fragile, hard to edit, missing a workflow. Say it plainly, and you'll get a straight answer, not a ticket number.
