For professional services
Clients hire your people. They read your website first.
A law, accounting, or consulting firm website is read by people deciding whether to hire you. They read the bio of the partner they were referred to, the practice page that matches their problem, and the last few things the firm published. If the bio is out of date or the insights page stopped in 2023, they notice.
LFW hosts, maintains, and monitors professional services sites on WordPress. Your marketing staff publish bios, practice pages, and insights inside tested templates. Contact forms say plainly what not to send, and one monthly report goes to your managing partner.

Who handles what
Your people and your words, on a platform LFW runs.
For marketing, business development, and operations staff at law firms, accounting and tax firms, consulting firms, and other partnerships.
- Your firm
- Bios, practice descriptions, insights, the words on every page, and approval of anything that describes a professional or a result. Your professional conduct rules stay your call.
- Your vendors
- Your CRM, email marketing, intake, and document systems stay where they are. The website links to them or sends form submissions into them.
- LFW
- Hosting, updates, security, daily accessibility monitoring, the monthly report, and routine changes such as a new bio, a practice page, or an event listing.
From request to delivery
Get the bios, the practice pages, and the contact form right first.
Most of the work on a firm website is keeping people current. A partner joins, an associate leaves, a practice group is renamed, a license is added. Each change touches a bio, a practice page, and a listing, and each is easy to miss. The fix is a structure where every fact is entered once.
Host and patch the platform
Managed hosting for WordPress with staging, daily backups, and a firewall. Updates run monthly through staging, with security releases sooner. Every editor signs in with two-factor authentication. Recovery is tested every year, and the result is written down.
Make every bio one record
Each professional is one entry: name, title, photo, admissions or licenses, education, practices, and publications. Practice pages, insight bylines, and the people directory all read from it, so a change is made once. When someone leaves, the bio is retired with a redirect instead of a broken link.
Keep the contact form safe to use
Forms say plainly that sending a message does not create a client relationship, and they ask visitors not to send confidential details. Messages are routed by practice or office and filtered for spam without a puzzle. Templates are tested to WCAG 2.1 AA, and every page is scanned daily after launch.
What the monthly fee covers
Routine tasks of 30 minutes or less, handled one at a time. Standard acknowledgment: one business day. Priority acknowledgment: four business hours. These are response targets; completion depends on the work.
Business hours only, with no after-hours or on-call coverage. Hosting and licenses are paid separately. Redesigns, integrations, custom development, and larger remediation work receive a separate fixed quote.
Read management scope and termsBefore you engage
What firms ask first.
Can the website look as polished as the firm?
Yes. A rebuild starts with the people directory, the bios, and the practice pages, because those are what a prospective client reads. Design, photography direction, and typography are scoped with the rebuild and quoted before work begins.
Do we have to leave our current platform?
No. If the site already runs on WordPress, LFW takes over maintenance where it is or moves it to managed hosting. Leaving a proprietary legal or accounting marketing platform is a rebuild, with its own scope, schedule, and fixed quote.
Who approves what goes on a bio or an insight?
Your firm does. A bio, a practice page, or a client alert can require an approval before it is published, and the approval is recorded with the change. Nothing that describes a professional or a result goes live on LFW’s word.
Can the site keep a record of what it said, and when?
Yes. Looking Glass captures a site’s key pages every night, pixels and code, so you can show what a page said on a given date. How long you must keep that record is set by your jurisdiction and your rules.
For law firms
Some states require a copy of the firm website.
In New York, the lawyer advertising rule requires the contents of a firm website it covers to be preserved on first publication, after a major redesign or a meaningful and extensive content change, and at least once every 90 days. The same rule requires the “Attorney Advertising” label on that website’s home page.
Looking Glass captures a site’s key pages every night. Whether a page is advertising, and what your own state requires, is for the firm and its counsel to decide.

At Stand Together, Leland worked on the in-house team responsible for more than 100 sites running WordPress, with shared templates and editors who were not developers. He also administered Arlington County Government’s network of more than 40 public sites. Both roles preceded LFW.
