Caught before anyone reported it
Your site is checked every day. These came from those checks, not from your inbox.
- Aug 9 A link to the county permit form broke when the county moved the file. Fixed the same morning, before the weekend workday crowd needed it.
- Aug 16 14 gallery photos had no alt text, so screen readers skipped them. Written and added.
- Aug 23 Your security certificate's renewal is confirmed for October 3. It happens automatically; nothing for you to do.

The performance jump came from resizing the summer photos and moving two scripts out of the way of the page. You'll notice it most on a phone.

What it means: The event page was your most-visited page after the homepage. About two-thirds of RSVPs arrived from the newsletter link, the rest from the homepage banner.

Behind the scenes
- 7 platform and plugin updates applied, each tested before and after.
- Backups nightly. A full restore was tested on August 15 and took 11 minutes.
- No security incidents. 1,240 automated login attempts blocked, which is routine.
- Certificate valid, renews automatically on October 3.

Board-members-only page for packets
Two ways to do it. A shared password is simple but leaks the moment it's forwarded. Or each board member signs in with their own email, with no password to lose; that's what we recommend. Pick one and it's live within two business days.
