LFW Search
Live, add-on moduleSearch that actually finds the page a visitor is looking for.
Useful search does not require AI
LFW Search uses Meilisearch, an open-source search engine, for fast retrieval, typo tolerance, filters, synonyms, and controllable ranking. Standard search is unlimited and does not consume LLM tokens.
- Titles and headings rank above incidental body mentions
- Misspellings still reach useful results
- Numbers, identifiers, and proper names can remain exact
- Pages, posts, events, documents, and custom content types can be filtered
- Every result shows the passage relevant to that query, with matching words highlighted
- Pinned results and organization-specific synonyms are managed for you

AI is an enhancement, not a dependency
An optional AI relevance boost reranks a small set of results already found by the search engine. It does not invent an answer or replace the underlying index.
- A fixed monthly token allowance prevents open-ended costs
- A per-query limit bounds individual requests
- When the allowance is used, ordinary results continue automatically
- If the AI provider is unavailable, visitors still receive search results
One product, several ways to index
The preferred WordPress connector sends published content and custom post types directly to LFW. A crawler provides a fallback for other public sites. A Drupal connector is coming next.
- Automatic discovery of public custom post types and taxonomies
- Human-readable content labels, without asking for internal WordPress slugs
- Immediate updates from WordPress, plus scheduled reconciliation
- Public-page crawling for unsupported systems
- Document and PDF text can join the same index
- Every customer has an isolated index and scoped credentials

Search tells us what the website is missing
The Client Portal reports what people searched, which searches returned nothing, and whether visitors opened a result. That makes search an operating signal, not merely a box in the header.
Shared by default, dedicated when required
The standard service uses isolated customer indexes on LFW-managed infrastructure. A dedicated Meilisearch instance is available for organizations with procurement, scale, residency, or isolation requirements.
Meilisearch’s core engine is available under the MIT license. LFW operates the service, connectors, indexing, interface, analytics, monitoring, and recovery.
Add-on module quoted for the size and publishing activity of the site. Dedicated infrastructure and AI allowances are priced separately.
