The blog goes straight to the articles.
The blog index no longer opens with a large introduction, an email signup, topic filters, and a search box. It opens on the newest article, with a photo, and the rest of the writing follows in two ruled columns.
The email signup, the topic pills, and the search box are gone. LFW Search, one keystroke away on every page, already finds any article. The feed is still announced to readers that look for one; nothing on the page advertises it.
The newest article leads with its cover photo and a short deck. Everything after it sits in a two-column list with a hairline between columns, in the same order as before, eight to a page, with the same page numbers underneath. About and Blog in the site's header now mark which page you are on.
