Monitor checks uptime every minute.
Monitor now checks each site once a minute from two independent places, and records exactly how many minutes it was down each month. It was added for a public university's request for proposals, which requires 99.9 percent uptime and a monthly uptime report.
One check runs on Cloudflare's network and one on LFW's own server, so an outage is caught even when one of them is the thing that is down. An outage counts once two checks in a row fail, and LFW is alerted when it is confirmed. LFW responds in business hours; the host's own team covers nights.
LFW is not a hosting provider. When a host guarantees uptime, as Kinsta and Pressable do, its service credit is claimed by quoting the outage window within the host's deadline. Monitor's record gives that window, measured independently of the host, and LFW prepares the claim for the client.
LFW.com is the first site on it.
